The Holloway Road bridge-works are finally coming to an end, so what will happen next? We’ve been promised the Highbury Corner roundabout will be removed, to create a better ‘gateway’ to the area and improve conditions for bus-users, pedestrians and cyclists, but results of the previous consultation have been expected for more than a year.
The council Executive will be voting on the scheme in March but still haven’t told anyone what it could look like.
Cllr Caroline Russell says “TfL responded well to my calls for better access to Canonbury School and clearer signage during their recent bridge works. Now I’m calling for them to show their plans to the next ward partnership meeting.”
