Islington Green Party is proud to announce a full slate of 48 candidates for Islington’s council elections this May – with 25 women and 23 men aiming to get a Green voice back on Islington Council.
We are particularly proud to have more women than men on the ballot paper. The local party is now working hard on the Islington doorstep, and hearing more and more desire for a strong Green opposition to the Labour administration.

The last time Islington went to the polls, at the Greater London Authority elections in 2012, the Green Party came second in almost every ward in Islington – and this time we’re aiming to go one better!
